Line Connectors Do Not Render Properly on Diagram Redraw

Has anyone run into the following issue?

I have set up a web-application, which allows a user to select which manager-id he or she would like to use as the starting point for an organizational chart.

Upon the very first selection when the web-page first comes up, the organizational chart renders as expected.

However, upon every subsequent selection the organization chart's images render correctly but the connector lines do no not.

The attachment provides a visual sample of this issue.

This has been resolved by inserting a "Model.BeginUpdate()" call at the beginning of the process that was not present...
