In our upcoming Vol3 refresh release (available soon (days not weeks)), direct support has been added to our library for tooltips. When that release is available, you can find a sample in the Dashboard|WPF Sample Browser at
C:\Users\yourname\Documents\Syncfusion\EssentialStudio\7.3.0.??\WPF\Grid.WPF\Samples\3.5\WindowsSamples\Product Showcase\Tooltips Demo
