Are there plans of adding the AddNewRow functionality of the GridDataControl to the Virtual Grid.

Hi Andrew,

Virtual Grid is using the base grid to show case UI virtualization. If you would want the AddNewRow functionality you would have to write your own logic to show an extra row in the top and behave it accordingly to your data source.
