vertical selection in edit

Hi,
Is it possible to select vertically column wise in edit instead of selecting line wise.
For example,
the following text is entered in edit control

232 342423 324872384 55555 23487 32847
344 347478 348743874 55555 74843 38478

if the user selects through 5555 the whole row should be highlighted.
Is this possible with Edit control.

Hi Nitroxn,

Thank you for your interest in Syncfusion Products.

At present we can select the text in the Edit control by line wise only. So it is not possible to vertically select the text in the Edit control with our current architecture.

Please let me know if any concerns.
