Auto expanding table to fill control

I need to do something VERY simple.

I want my gridControl to SIMPLY grow/shrink as the parent control is resized...now this is fine if we dock..but the column sizes don't grow / shrink to fill the entire area ONLY the grid does..this obviously isn't any good....

how can such a simple thing be so tricky to do???
