GroupNode in pallet

Hi,
I used the Symbol Designer to create a symbol which consists of 2 parts.
An image (bitmapnode) and a TextNode.
I grouped the 2 parts together.
(See attachment - Symbol Designer.bmp).
In the DiagramBuilder,i used this pallet, and it was OK.
The probelm is that when i load an edd file which includes these symbols, and i select one of the symbols, the selection focuses only on the bitmapnode.(without the TextNode).
See attachments-Entry0.bmp (OK) , Method1.bmp (PROBLEMATIC).
Please advice.
Thanks.

Hi Shimon ,

Could you please check if TextNode's EditStyle.AllowSelect property is set to false. The textnode gets focus in the group when click on it. Please refer to the attached video.

http://www.syncfusion.com/Product/uploads/video_8e21c84c.zip

Here is the test sample.

http://www.syncfusion.com/Product/uploads/QuickStart_e208508e.zip

Could you please check the sample and let me know whether you are able to reproduce the issue in this sample?. It would be helpful if you provide a sample or modify the attached sample to reproduce this issue. It will help us to resolve it as early as possible.

Thanks,
Nagaraj

Hi,
Thanks for your quick reply.
I am afraid i did not make myself clear.
My purpose is that the TextNode+BitmapNode will be treated as one node (group).
That means, when the mouse points on either of the nodes, the bounding rectangle will be around both of them as you can see in attachment "Entry0.bmp".
(In order to achieve this purpose,in the symbol designer,I set the property "allowselect" to false in each of the nodes TextNode and bitmapnode.
Then,i select both of the nodes, and grouped them together with actions->grouping->group)

The problem is,that when i load the edd file, and i point on the bitmap node ,the bounding rectangle is only around the bitmap node and not around both of the nodes.(See attachment "Method1.bmp").
BTW : i could not run your sample since i use version 5.1.1.19

Please advice.
Thanks.
