Is CSS margins not supported at all for elements?

I find it odd since the margins obviously exists around for example h1, p etc.

Will it be supported soon?

These doesn't remove any margin at all:

p {margin:0;padding:0;}
h2 {margin:0px;padding:0;}

Our initial analysis indicates that the Support for margin attribute could be a Feature Request. We will submit this to our developers for further analysis and get back to you with a status update on or before July 7th 2008.
