FilterBar and visable displayed value.

I have filter bar and the filter is a guid key and on the filter bar it shows the guid key as the value it was filtered on. But I need to overwrite the filtered value the user sees with a "user friendly" text value on the grid. Possible? It doesn't seem to be all that hard and I think I am now making it a lot harder than it needs to be.

Hi Matt,

Thank you for your interest in Syncfusion Products.

If you are trying to use a foreign key lookup column and you wants to filter it, then currently you have to use a foreignkey relation (and not just a combobox).

Please refer the sample to use a foreignkey lookup not showing the custom value in the dropdown :

http://websamples.syncfusion.com/samples/Grid.Windows/Grid_WF_GGCCustomRemove/main.htm

Please let me know if this helps.

Regards,
Jisha
