I have a GridGroupingControl that is bound to a BindingList of domain objects. I have a background thread that updates some fields of the domain object (that aren't shown in the grid). At the same time a user can edit one of the other fields via the grid.

The record relating to a domain object appears to refresh when any of the fields update, causing the cell being edited to reject it changes and lose its caret (but not its focus).

Is there any way of suspending this refresh whilst a cell is being edited?

Many thanks.
