Hi Yeshwant,

Thanks for your interest in Syncfusion Products.

This is not possible with a virtual grid. The grouping feature is supported only with the GridGroupingControl through the GroupingEngine. If you wish to have grouping feature, then you need to use the GridGroupingControl. We recommend our customers to use GridGroupingControl to have better performance and enjoy many features the grid offers.

The Engine Optimization technique is used for gridGroupingControl to increase performance for larger datasources. This makes the GridGroupingControl operating with Virtual Mode and there by increasing the performance. For more information on this please refer the below browser samples shipped with the product.

\\EssentialStudio\5.x\Windows\Grid.Grouping.Windows\Samples\2.0\PerformanceSamples\GroupingPerf

For summaries refer the below sample
\\Syncfusion\EssentialStudio\5.x\Windows\Grid.Grouping.Windows\Samples\2.0\Summaries\SummariesForNestedTablesAndGroups

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Regards,
Rajagopal
