Hi Yacinus,

I apologize for the delay in responding.

Below is the sample link as per your requirement.

http://websamples.syncfusion.com/samples/Grid.Web/5.1.0.51/Forum-65826/main.htm

The records enter into editable mode on double clicking it. The 'CellType' of the 'City' field is set to 'ComboBox'. The 'ComboBox' is binded to the DataSource.

Please let us know if it satisfies your requirement.

Thank you for your patience.

Regards,
Valli

Hi valli ,

I looked to the sample ,but actually it didn't match to my issue, because I am binding my grid from a dataSource, and I am defining each column with a designer by Mapping name,so I could not change the cell type using the code because the cell type should match the type of data in my GGC.
Is there any solution to this issue?
Thank you in advance
Yacinus
