Page numbering

Is there any way to change the format of the page numbering for a WordDocument? It defaults to numbering (1,2,3), but I'm looking to create a document with characters for page numbers (A,B,C). I know this is a feature of Word and that it is possible, but just have yet to figure out a way to do it with DocIO.
