please help with the selection

hi all.
in my ggc i have like 40 rows, grouped and collapsed.
when the user enters a row number to a text box,i
want to expand the ggc in the matching row, scroll the ggc and select the row with the matching rowindex.
CAN you give me a simple example for this?
