Hi,
We are using the Syncfusion Essential Studio 3.3.0.0 extensively in our project. Recently we started using the EditControl. Since using this we have noticed that the default cursor disappears from the application. I have verified this by creating a brand new project which simply diplays the Edit Control. After bringing up the form containing the edit control a couple of times the mouse cursor disappears. I could not find this issue reported here before.

Can you tell me if this is a known issue and whether there is any fix for it?

thanks and regards
Bijesh

Hi,
Just to add some more information to this.

To recreate this problem, I just need to have the EditControl in a form. Bring up the form and enter some text in the edit control and select the text. While the text is selected, close the window containing the control. The mouse cursor of the application disappears.

Please let me know if there is a fix for this,

thanks and regards,
Bijesh

Hi Bijesh,

This was a known issue in v3.3.0.0 and has been fixed. Please create a Direct-Trac incident if you would like to receive the patch that contains the fix.

Thanks for your patience.

Ebenezer.P

Thanks for your quick respose Ebenezer. I have raised an item in Direct-Trac (30521) for this. I have also asked if there are any performance patches for 3.3.0.0, since we are seeing a second delay in the Edit Control's constructor.
Thanks and regards,
Bijesh

Hi,
Thanks for all the help. I just have one more question. To apply this patch, I have found that I need to upgrade all the Syncfusion dlls to 3.3.0.50. Is there any documentation about the changes that went into this release? It will be helpful for me in testing with the new assemblies. I could not find any release notes in the installed folder
Many thanks and regards
Bijesh

Hi. That is brilliant. Thank you. I also wanted to know. Since we have to upgrade all the assemblies to 3.3.0.5, Can you give me a list of all the changes across other controls in this version. Like the grid control , excel export, chart control etc . We use them extensively in our project and would like to know any possible impact across our application as result of upgrading to this version.
thanks and regards
Bijesh
