Ports / Text in composite symbols

I have a symbol which contains a number of child symbols.
Each child symbol contains text and a port.
This entire composite symbol is created programatically.

The problem is that the child ports and text doesn''t seem to be recognized (although they do display). So the link tool won''t link & the text isn''t editable.

Any ideas why?

Using syncfusion 3.2.1.0

Hi Mulveyja,

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

I was able to visualize the condition you have mentioned here. I will notify this issue to our developers and we will implement the feature to recogonize the child nodes and child ports directly at the earliest.

Thank you for using Syncfusion Essential Diagram.

Regards,
Nagaraj

Do you have a DirecTrac for the bug?

Hi Mulveyja,

We have some Direct Trac issues for this bug. We have logged a feature request for accessing the child nodes of a complex symbol. You can track the status of this feature here:

Feature Request #1313 - Add support to access the child nodes of the complex symbol.

We will try our very best to implement this feature at the earliest and update you once this feature is implemented.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Best Regards,
Nagaraj.
