Hi,

Do you guys provide a dialog that can be shown to a user to let them configure the chart''s visual properties (ie: colors, labels)?

Thanks.

Hi Amit,

Essential Chart includes the Wizard interface that can be used in Design mode to layout the ChartControl as per user requirements. It can be also be used at runtime to change certain properties. There are five steps in the Chart Wizard. The changes made using the Wizard are reflected at once in the ChartControl. There is also a preview panel which allows the user to get an idea on the changes that are being made in the chart. After making necessary changes, click the Apply button to apply those settings in the chart and click the Finish button to transfer the settings and to close the Wizard.

Series :The first step in the Wizard is Series. The ChartControl can display multiple series. Through Wizard, the properties such as Name, Datasource , Labels etc. for any of the series can be changed.
Appearance :This step of the Wizard helps to control the appearance such as color, font etc. of the ChartControl and ChartArea.
Axes: In this step of Chart Wizard, the appearance of the ChartControl''s axes can be varied.
Legend: The various properties of the chart legend such as position, alignment, orientation etc. can be changed in this step.
ToolBar : Various properties of the ToolBar such as style, color etc. can be assigned in this step.

Please find the attached sample which accommodates the above requirements.

Thank you for your patience.

Regards,
Jaya
