Controlling the filter choice list in grid grouping control

Hi,
I''m using the grid grouping control and encountered the following problem:

I read that I can control the content of the filter choice list by calling the getchoiceliststrings and setting them.
The problem is that I cant find where to get the filtergridbar from .

I tried to create on and wire it to the grid but I can only wire a filterbargrid to data bound grid and not to grouping grid control.

What should I do?
