Autocad conversion

Hi, Is there any support provided or API''s available so that i can convert the diagram drawn in AutoCad to the syncfusion symbol''s, In other words, can i import or export the diagram''s drawn in Autocad to the syncfusion symbols. Regards, Rajesh

Hi Rajesh, I am sorry for this delay in providing you with an update. Exporting a diagram document to DWG format should not be a problem. Essential Diagram will enable you to export the diagram document to a MetaFile or SVG format files, which you can then convert to the AutoCAD format files and I do believe that AutoCAD supports import/export MetaFiles format (WMF files. ) The DiagramBuilder sample is featured with the export option of exporting the diagram as a MetaFile.Kindly, refer this sample. The import functionality can be provided by creating an SVG Import module for Essential Diagram that reads the SVG data(exported by AutoCAD) and then it suitably interprets and converts into the native Diagram objects. Currently Essential Diagram supports exporting the Diagram files into SVG file formats and however we have a feature request for importing SVG file functionality.
