Hi,
I keep on working on the performance issue
raised by Andrea Boni last month.
(real time updates - MessageID=42320)
We have analizied the PerfomanceGrid example sent in the forum,
using Rational Quantify.
Here is the benchmark we are using:
- one table with 300 cells (50rows x 6cols).
- we updates the cells one by one
- the specs of the machine are: Pentium 4 2.8 GHz - 1G RAM
We have measured the cpu usage of the table
with different numbers of total cell updates per second.
total cpu
updtes usage
(num/sec) (%)
2700 78
2000 52
1500 39
1200 29
So the peak performance of the Syncfusion grid are:
3400 updates/sec
Can you please confirm that those are the peak performance ?
Attached you find a word document with the Quantify analysis.
Do you think that it is possible to do other improvements?
Thanks in advance,
Francesco
