I am using a virtual grid but users now want to enter in formulas into cells like excel. I see the examples but is there a way to utilize the formula engine for calculations but still use a virtual grid. Any examples would be helpful . .

You have to maintain a collection of formulatags objects, one for each formula cell. You can save them and SaveCellInfo and then provide them to e.Style.FormulaTag in QueryCellInfo. Take a look at this KB. It does something similar for a GridDataBoundGrid. http://www.syncfusion.com/support/kb/grid/Default.aspx?ToDo=view&questId=104
