Hi, I need to know which version of Visual Studio the Essential Grid has been tested on. Has there been any proven tests for use with Visual studio 2005? Also is there support for multiple sheets (like good old excel)and copy paste from excel onto the grid and vice versa? Rgds, Srividya

Hi Srividya, 1. Essential Studio 3.3, which is the latest version available for download was released before the Visual Studio 2005 RC was released. It ships with samples that were created using the Visual Studio 2005 Beta 2. Check out the Whidbey section in the ASP.NET section of the Essential Grid Knowledgebase. We have made more changes since and the 4.0 release will support the VS.NET Release Candidate. 2. No Essential Grid for ASP.NET does not support multiple sheets. It primarily exposes the functionality of the Syncfusion Grouping engine like filtering, support for expression fields, sorting, summary description, etc. in a rich grid interface. Can you post more information on this feature. Currently it does not support copy/paste from/to Excel but we will go ahead and add this a feature request for consideration in a future release. Regards Arun
