GDBG and background color

I have a simple question. I am having problem changing the background color of a GDBG. What I am trying to achieve: I have a panel in which I put a GDBG. The GDBG is set to dock fill all the panel. So from there all I want to do is fill all the panel space with a white background and remove all grid border to give it the look of a ListView. I set the backcolor to white, in the general properties and in the TableStyle properties, and it simply doesn''t work. Anyone has any tips?

Here is a little sample that sets the backcolor, hides the gridlines and headers. http://www.syncfusion.com/Support/user/uploads/GDBG_WrapText_466589c6.zip
