Grid Colwidths setsize not working after service pack?

gceSearchGrid.Model.ColWidths.SetSize(i + 1,290)

this statement is not working after service pack version 2.0

or Where I am missing?

If gceSearchGrid is a GridDataBoundGrid, try setting its AllowResizeToFit = false;
