Formula Value Hidden when navigate into cell

When we navigate into a formula cell, nothing shows in the cell - neither the formula nor the calculated value show. We would like the calculated value to show - just like Excel. Navigating to normal value cells show the value just fine. Any ideas?

Check your output window to see if there are any exceptions being thrown?
