How can I get the dockstate into my own xml string variable so I can handle the save?

I want to get the dock state save in my own data store and then load state with a string as well.

Hi Steve, Please refer to the online documentation for LoadDockState, SaveDockState, and AppStateSerializer. If you create an instance of AppStateSerializer set to XML, you can use it with LoadDockState and SaveDockState to load/save your docking state whenever you want.
