How to show popup-button for XPMenus for small windows

Hi, Run the XPMenus SDI example. Make the window width pretty small so that File, Edit and view menus are visible. As you are resizing you can notice that the toolbars show a ">>" icon that will poup a menu with the hidden buttons. Similarly, is there anyway to show ">>" popup-button in the main menu if menu items can not be shown if the window size is too small. cheers, - Reddy

Reddy, The capability to display a resizing chevron has been disabled for menu bars. While the CommandBar architecture that the menu bar is built on does indeed possess the requisite logic for displaying the chevron, for the sake of consistency with VS.NET, this features is not exposed for a menu type of CommandBar. We will look into this some more and see if we can provide you with a way to turn-on this feature without extensive customization. Prakash Syncfusion, Inc.

Prakash, You can take a look at MS Word or excel or Windows explorer. All of them do display the popup chevron. Can you add a boolean property to turn on this kind of thing? thanks, - Reddy

Reddy, We have made this a feature request. We will try to support this in one of our next releases. Regards, Praveen Ramesh
