Dropdown List that emulates date selection in Scheduler toolbar

I'd like to use a Dropdown List to mimic the look and behavior of the date dropdown in the header toolbar for the Scheduler control.  Can this be accomplished using the ItemTemplate and ValueTemplate, or do I need to use a different control to accomplish this?  Thank you.

Yes, this can generally be achieved using the ItemTemplate and ValueTemplate properties of the Syncfusion DropDownList component to customize both the dropdown items and the selected value display.
