Kanban card does not remove when status is null
I followed the exact code here, everything worked well. However, I tried to set cards' status to null by adding ShowClearButton="true" and TValue="string?" like this:
<SfDropDownList @ref="StatusRef" TValue="string?" TItem="DropDownModel" CssClass="e-field" DataSource="@StatusData" @bind-Value="@data.Status" ShowClearButton="true">The problem is when I try to click the saveclearbutton and then save the edited data, the card does not remove. Why?

However, until the issue is fixed on our end, please use the following
workaround. Update the Status field property using the ValueChanged event of
the DropDownList component. Please refer to the code snippet and sample below.

<SfDropDownList @ref="StatusRef" TValue="string" TItem="DropDownModel" CssClass="e-field" DataSource="@StatusData" Value="@data.Status" ValueChanged="@(value => OnStatusChanged(value, data))" ShowClearButton="true"> <DropDownListFieldSettings Text="Value" Value="Value" /> </SfDropDownList> { // ✅ handle clear safely data.Status = string.IsNullOrEmpty(value) ? "" : value; } |

Hi Desmond,
We appreciate your patience.
We are glad to announce that we have included the fix for the issue “Card is
not hidden when status is cleared using template dialog” in our 33.2.13 release. So
please upgrade to our latest version of the Syncfusion package to resolve the
reported issue.
Root Cause: When the keyfeild value of the card is set to null, the kanban card is not removed and just the card value is being updated.
Solution: When the keyfeild value is set to null, added an if condition to check if the changed value is where the keyfield value is set to null. Then remove the card when the keyfiled value is set to null.
