Saved PDF Form not fully compatible with Adobe Acrobat
Hi,
We added the PDFViewer in our application, in order to add the functionality to prefill PDF forms, with data from our application.
We are using .Net 9 and version 33.1.45 of the WPF PDF Viewer component.
The only issue that we are encountering, is if the PDF form is saved to disk, we are getting an error when attempting to open that newly saved PDF form in Adobe Acrobat(see image below).
Is there a property, in PDFViewer, that will help to correct this problem?
We tried both rendering engines, but issue persists.
Any help would be appreciated.
Daniel
Hi Daniel,
We experienced a similar issue with Acrobat being stricter than other PDF viewers after saving forms. In our case, the problem seemed related to certain AcroForm/XFA structures not being fully preserved during save.
Re-saving the document through the Syncfusion PDF library or flattening the form helped improve compatibility. Curious if Syncfusion has an official workaround for this in v33.1.45.
