Styling / Formula / Images lost
Hello,
I would like to know why the spreadsheet component is not properly showing stylings , losing formulas and images from a base64 string in an Angular Application.
Is there any limitation on that ?
Hi Giovanni Michielin,
Thank you for reaching out.
We validated your reported query based on the shared details and code snippets. We tried to replicate your reported issue by opening a base64 file containing different formats, styles and formulas. However, the file was imported properly with all the formatting, styles and formulas and we didn’t face any issues.
For your reference, we have shared below the sample we have used at our end to replicate this case and a video demonstrating that the issue is not taking place at our end.
Sample link: Kindly refer to the attachment.
Output reference: Kindly refer to the attachment.
For more details regarding opening files as base 64 kindly refer to this documentation: https://help.syncfusion.com/document-processing/excel/spreadsheet/angular/open-save#open-an-excel-file-from-base64-string-data
Kindly review the above shared details. To investigate further regarding this, kindly share the below details from your end.
- Kindly confirm the spreadsheet version you are using at your end (both client side and server side).
- Kindly share a screenshot or video demonstration of the issue you are facing.
- Kindly share details on how you are opening the base64 file at your end with relevant code snippets.
- Have you done any other customizations? If so, kindly share details regarding those customizations with relevant code snippets.
- Are you facing this issue in a specific file? If so, kindly share that specific file with dummy data.
- We have shared the sample we have used at our end to replicate the issue. If possible, please replicate the issue on the sample and revert it back to us for further validation.
Please share the above details from your end. Based on that we will validate further and provide you with more accurate details.
Please feel free to reach out to us if you have any further questions or concerns.
