We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused.
We understand that the current virtualization behavior is not
meeting your expectations, particularly in terms of smooth scrolling and
avoiding the shimmer effect when data is available locally. We acknowledge the
comparison with other solutions, and we take your concerns seriously.
Currently, the EJ2 Grid shows a shimmer (mask row) while loading data or
rendering pages, including local data with virtualization, to preserve UI
consistency without content disappear or flickering.
At this time, we do not have immediate plans to implement this
feature. At the planning stage for every release cycle, we review all open
features and identify features for implementation based on specific parameters
including product vision, technological feasibility, vote count and overall
demand. Please cast your vote to make it count. So that we will prioritize the
feature request for every release based on demands. We recommend tracking the
status of this feature through the feedback link provided below.
