How to start adding a new row in SfDataGrid via a custom button

I know there is a built-in 'Add new row' that's defined with AddNewRowPosition, which starts adding a new row and starts editing right away. However, I want to have a custom button that does the same thing (clicking the custom button should behave the same as the built-in 'Click here to add a new row'). How can I achieve that?

Josepth Badrouk,

We have thoroughly analyzed the source implementation and reviewed the feasibility of adding a new row to the SfDataGrid through a custom button. Unfortunately, due to limitations within our internal architecture, this functionality cannot be supported at this time.

We sincerely regret that we are unable to fulfill this requirement. If you have any alternative scenarios or additional needs, we would be happy to explore possible solutions or workarounds.

Please feel free to reach out with any further questions.
