Select multiple files on mobile with file manager

Hi,
I was testing how accessible the File Manager is for mobile users and I checked out the accessibility sample on an Android phone (Chrome) and an iPhone (Safari).

How do you select multiple items? It seems like you're supposed to just tap on them, but you can't see the checkboxes on any other items so when you tap on another, it deselects the first.

Another issue is selecting folders. If you tap on a folder, it navigates into the folder, making it very difficult to select.

Hopefully, I'm just missing something simple here!

Based on the information provided, we have validated and classified the reported scenarios regarding the “Issue with multiple selection in the FileManager component on mobile devices" as a bug on our end. The fix for this issue will be included in the weekly patch release scheduled for end of September 2025.

Hi Milena,

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. Upon further validation with real devices, we’ve confirmed that long-pressing or tab-holding on folders/files in the Blazor FileManager component enables checkboxes, allowing for multiple selections on mobile devices. This addresses the reported difficulty with multi-selection and folder navigation.

We consider this issue resolved. Please let us know if you encounter any further challenges or need additional clarification.
