Paging implementation in RTE

I would like to inquire about the availability of paging functionality in your Rich Text Editor (RTE), similar to how Microsoft Word handles paging.

Specifically, I’m referring to the ability to display and manage content in discrete “pages,” with visible page breaks that behave like Word’s “Insert Page Break” feature — separating content into different pages both visually and for print/PDF export.

Could you please confirm:

  1. If paging is currently implemented in the RTE component.

  2. If this functionality is planned for a future release.

  3. If there is any existing guidance, documentation, or recommended approach to manually implement Word-style paging in the RTE.

Important note:
This request specifically concerns the RTE component and not the Document Editor component. Paging support in the RTE is an important requirement for our use case.

For clarity, I have attached a screenshot of a page break as it appears in Microsoft Word for reference.

Thank you for your assistance and recommendations to help us move forward.

Hi Alaa Najjar,

Currently, the RichTextEditor component does not have support for Pagination. However, we have considered this requirement as a feature request. Now you can track the status of the feature in the feedback link below.

The above feature will be implemented in any one of the future volume releases. Generally, we will plan the feature implementation based on the customer request count, feature rank, and wishlist plan. You can upvote the feature request feedback so that it gets support and will be ranked higher for implementation.

Regards,
Vinitha
