kanban virtualization

Hello,

I am using Syncfusion Kanban, and there is a large number of data records. How can I implement virtualization for the items within each column?

Hi Sarah,

Currently, the Blazor Kanban component does not have support for Virtualization. However, we have considered this requirement as a feature request. Now you can track the status of the feature in the feedback link below.


The above feature will be implemented in any one of the future volume releases. Generally, we will plan the feature implementation based on the customer request count, feature rank, and wishlist plan. You can upvote the feature request feedback so that it gets support and will be ranked higher for implementation.

Hello,

I am writing to urgently request that this matter be given high priority. When the number of tasks reaches approximately 1,000 to 2,000, the system encounters significant performance issues and experiences noticeable lag (hanging/freezing) during task navigation and movement.

This severely impacts workflow efficiency and requires immediate attention

At the moment, we do not have any immediate plans to include virtualization support for the Blazor Kanban component. As mentioned earlier, this feature has been logged in our feedback portal, and its implementation timeline will depend on overall demand, feature ranking, and our product roadmap priorities.

Hello,

Can I use ListView or another component? I noticed that ListView supports virtualization and it's possible to set a template for items. I had a few questions: 

1- Is it possible to drag items within a ListView (reordering items within the same ListView)?

2- Is it possible to drag items from one ListView to another ListView?

Hi Sarah,


The ListView component currently supports virtualization but does not provide internal or external drag and drop functionality.


However, the Syncfusion TreeView component supports both virtualization and drag and drop features.
