Canceling Previous DataManager Requests on Quick Sort Actions - Branched from 196446

When clicking on a column header to sort, is it possible to cancel the previous request if a new sort action is triggered quickly after? Ideally, I would like to allow users to re-click immediately to change the sort direction without having to wait for the previous request to complete. Is there a recommended approach for achieving this with DataManager?

Hi Romain DEVAUX,

Greetings from Syncfusion support.

Currently, EJ2 DataManager does not have support to cancel pending requests. We have considered this as a feature request and have logged a feature task titled "Support for preventing DataManager request." During the planning stage for each release cycle, we review all open features and identify those for implementation based on specific parameters such as product vision, technological feasibility, and customer interest. This feature will be included in one of our upcoming releases.

You can now track the current status of your request, review the proposed resolution timeline, and contact us for any further inquiries through this link.
