Ciprian,
On further analysis, we found that the input document has a table with a background color in it and the cell without any background color. During Word to PDF using DocIO library, we are applying the table background color to the whole table. This leads to the reported issue. We are tracking the Microsoft Word behavior and analyzing the possibility of implementing it in our source. We will update further details within two days.

Ciprian,
As promised earlier, we have included the fix for the reported issue with “Background color is not applied to the table cell properly while converting a Word document to PDF” in our latest weekly NuGet release (v29.2.7).

Root cause of the issue:
The input Word document contains a table with a background color applied to the table, but the individual cells do not have any background color. During the Word-to-PDF conversion using the DocIO library, the table background color was incorrectly applied to the entire table, including the cells, even though the cells do not have any background color. This resulted in the reported issue.
