Hi Bruna,

Greetings from Syncfusion Support,

We have reviewed the query on our end. It is not possible to achieve your requirement of considering only a specific Saturday as a working day in the Gantt chart validation. Our validation does not support specific date-based working days. However, the workWeek property can be used to consider all Saturdays as working days in the overall timeline. We have attached a code snippet and sample for reference:

<GanttComponent id='Editing' dataSource={editingData} workWeek={workWeek} >

          ...

</GanttComponent>

const
workWeek = ["Monday", "Tuesday", "Wednesday", "Thursday", "Friday", "Saturday"];

You can find a working example on StackBlitz.

If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please let me know!

Hi,

The problem in this case is that gantt will consider every Saturday as workday and this is a problem, in my case, the default saturday is not considered, but as overtime workday, there is any way or workaround?

thanks

Hi Bruna,

We have already explained that considering a specific Saturday as a working day in the Gantt chart is not feasible, and workaround for this requirement also not possible. We already logged feature request for the requirement as uncertain. You can track the status of the feature from the feedback link given below.

We have already lined up some major features, we could not implement this support immediately. We will implement this and include it in any of our upcoming releases. Please cast your vote on this feature. Based on the customer demand we will prioritize the features in our upcoming road map. You can communicate with us or track the status of the feature using the feedback link.

You can set the default workweek to Monday–Friday and manually define one Saturday as a workday in your scheduling settings. If you're using MS Project or another Gantt tool, try adjusting the Work Calendar or Exception Days to allow only one Saturday. Hope this helps!

Surah,

For your query, we understand that you expect only one specific Saturday to be a working day. Other Gantt tools may support this feature, but in the Syncfusion Gantt Chart, this functionality has not been implemented yet.
