File uploads do not work in Safari (Mac OS).

Question

I updated the FileManager component in my application from version 20.3.0.48 to 28.2.3 and the upload functionality in the Safari browser (using Mac OS) before it worked. Clicking the component's button to upload files and nothing opens.

NOTE: In other browsers (chrome, edge) it continues to work normally, even on Mac OS.

action not working in the safari browser. Upon further validation, we have
considered the issue where “Upload action not working in FileManager
component on mac os safari browser” as bug on our end. This fix
will be included in the upcoming weekly patch scheduled for February 11, 2025.

Root cause : The issue occurs due to the safari requires the file
input dialog to open programmatically as a direct result of a user action.
Interop cannot be directly associated with a user action, due to its nature.

The problem arises from Safari's need that the file input dialogue open programmatically in response to a user action. Because of its nature, interop cannot be immediately linked to a user activity.
