Can't remove listener

How can I remove listener from sfdatagrid.QueryCoveredRange?

It throws error CS0079 when I try  sfdatagrid.QueryCoveredRange = null

and also 

sfdatagrid .QueryCoveredRange -= sfDataGrid1_QueryCoveredRange

doesn't remove it?
