We have checked the reported issue “The fill series is not working properly when dragging the value with two cells having the same number” on our end and it is confirmed as a defect. And We have logged a bug. We will fix this issue and include it in our NuGet release Which is scheduled on January 15 , 2025.

We would like to let you know that Essential Studio Weekly NuGet packages (v28.1.39) has been published in nuget.org with the fix for the issue “The fill series is not working properly when dragging the value with two cells having the same number”. Please let us know if you have any concerns in this.

 

 

Root cause:

 

When dragging a value to extend a series, such as two cells containing the same number (e.g., 1.1.0), the fill series feature did not update the values correctly because it did not consider the last index. To address this issue, we have added a condition to ensure the last index of the value is properly updated while performing the fill series function.
