richtext in gridcontrol

Hi,

I use gridcontrol in my project, and I would like to use richtext cell type just to show formated text without arrow to edit cell.

Is it possible?

Thank you

Jim

Hi the carpenter,

We have reviewed your requirement to display formatted text without using a dropdown. By default, the GridControl in our library facilitates editing RichText through a dropdown panel and does not support in-place text editing. However, your requirement can be achieved using the attached workaround. In this solution, we have derived the GridTextBoxCellModel and GridTextBoxCellRenderer classes to incorporate an embedded RichTextBox within the cell, enabling active editing directly in place.

If we have misunderstood your request or if your requirements differ, we kindly request you to provide additional details. This will help us gain a better understanding of the scenario and offer a more accurate and tailored solution.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Please feel free to reach out if you have further questions or need assistance implementing the workaround.

Regards,
Manikanda Akash
