Freeze First Column in Syncfusion Flutter DataGrid

Is there an option to freeze the first column in the Syncfusion Flutter DataGrid so that it remains fixed and visible while filtering or sorting through other columns? Please provide guidance or suggest any available solutions for this functionality.

Hi ABHIRAM,
 

The SfDataGrid supports column freezing. You can use the frozenColumnsCount property to freeze columns on the left side and the footerFrozenColumnsCount property to freeze columns on the right side, similar to Excel. By setting these properties, you can keep the first column fixed and visible while scrolling through the other columns.

Please note that freezing a column does not restrict sorting or filtering actions on that column. The SfDataGrid is a data-bound control, meaning its actions and behavior are entirely dependent on the underlying data. Therefore, sorting and filtering will still apply to the frozen column, just like any other column.
