Redistribute the height of all children in Docking Manager after docking happens

Hello,

Currently, when dragging happens, the dragging target's height is split to make space for the dragging source. I'd like to be able to rearrange all the children height so all children have the same height in the docking manager after docking is completed.  At the very least, if the size of the dragging target can remain unchanged, that'll work too.

See demo attached with a pdf with the current behavior and the desired outcome

Thanks!

Hi Carles Steve,

Thank you for your inquiry about the docking behavior in our docking manager. To better assist you, could you please provide a brief explanation of your needs regarding the height adjustment of child elements after docking? Additionally, it seems the demo you mentioned was not attached; could you please re-attach it? This will help us understand your requirements more clearly.

Hi Carles Steve,

Thank you for re-sending the attachment. Unfortunately, we couldn’t open the PDF within the ZIP file, possibly due to a file issue. Could you please check the PDF and reattach it, or alternatively provide screenshots or a brief description of the current and desired behavior? This will help us better understand your requirements and assist you more effectively.

Hi Steve Fotso,

Thank you for sharing your query and the detailed demonstration.

Currently, the DockingManager does not have a direct option to automatically rearrange all child elements to have the same height after docking is completed. By design, the behavior of the DockingManager is to adjust the height of the target item to create space for the newly docked item, resulting in the splitting of the target's height.

We attempted a workaround to achieve your requested functionality, but unfortunately, it did not yield the desired results. This behavior is inherent to the DockingManager's operation.

If you have additional requirements or would like us to explore further possibilities, please let us know. We’d be happy to assist.
