Token item size does not fit the textbox and seems to be dependent on the fontsize

I am having an issue with a multi select SfTextBoxext wrapped inside an inputlayout where the token text does not fit properly inside the token item. After an item is selected from the dropdown, the UpdateTokenSize method is called from the onapplytemplate and the height that I set in the style (On the TokenBorder and TokenTextBlock) is overwritten. Any suggestionwould be appreciated thanks!
