Select and Move multiple rows using Keyboard Space Bar or Down Arrow key
Hello,
I would like to Navigate two rows at time when user press either Space Bar or Down Arrow Key.
I tried Navigation mode Row and Selection Mode Multiple. I wasn't able to use Key press to set the Selected Row to 2 Rows at a time
Any Suggestion?
Thanks
Hi Praveen,
Based on the details provided, we are unclear about the behavior you are requesting. You mentioned that you would like to navigate two rows at a time when the user presses the space bar or down arrow key. Could you confirm if this means two rows should be selected on the first press, and then two more rows on each subsequent press?
To better understand your requirements, we kindly ask you to provide more specific details about the expected behavior, along with any relevant use cases. This will help us investigate the matter further and provide an appropriate solution as soon as possible.

Yes that is correct two rows should be selected on first press and then next two more rows on each subsequent press. The selection of two or multiple rows of a datagrid using keyboard and then navigating two rows at time is behavior .
eg: Assuming datagrid has customer orders. Instead of user viewing one order details at time, I am looking to show user two orders at time. So user can view orders details / compare orders and make changes. This makes user process order details fast.
Hope this clarifies.
thanks
Praveen
Hi Praveen,
Based on the provided information, it is clear that you need to select two rows on the first press and then the next two rows on each subsequent press. Additionally, you require navigating two rows at a time.
We have implemented the behavior of navigating two rows at a time using the Down key in a simple sample, which we have shared for your reference.
