Some issues with annotation and redact

Hi,

I'm using SfPdfViewer and Annotation to do some tasks such as redaction or adding image.

I got some issues, so I created a sample project to reproduce the bugs.

• - I created the annotation, then redact it when saving file. But the redacted annotation wasn’t saved to file.(Please the attached video in link)
• - I tried to create stamp annotation from image file. I created a popup to edit or replace image. When I saved file, the annotation was be duplicated. The issue didn't happen often.
• I saw that the SaveEdits button is disappeared whenever I change the Brightness or contrast then click to crop.

We are currently in the process of validating the issue and will provide more details on October 5, 2024.
I tried to create stamp annotation from image file. I created a popup to edit or replace image. When I saved file, the annotation was be duplicated. The issue didn't happen often.	We were unable to reproduce the issue when loading the saved file after adding the stamp annotation, image gets duplicated. For further investigation, please provide the exact replication steps, it would be helpful.
I saw that the SaveEdits button is disappeared whenever I change the Brightness or contrast then click to crop.	We are able to replicate the issue “SaveEdits button disappears after adjusting brightness or contrast and clicking crop “. We are currently in the process of validating the issue and will provide more details on October 5, 2024.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused. We were unable to include the fix for the issue " Redaction does not work as expected in particular pdf document". We will include the fix in our upcoming weekly release, which is expected to be available on October 22, 2024.

We have included the fix for this issue " Redaction does not work as expected in particular pdf document " in our latest weekly release (27.1.55).Please download the NuGet from the below link

Root Cause :

The reported document contains Graphis path elements. While rendering the record collection, we have only handled the 'H' record for the end of the path element. However, the reported document has an 'S' element at the end, which has not been addressed.

We have fixed the reported issue “SaveEdits button disappears after adjusting brightness or contrast and clicking crop” in the MAUI SfImageEditor control from our end. As of now, we have prepared a private patch including the issue fix and shared it below for your reference. Please check with our patch and let us know whether your issue is resolved. 

 Note:

Before installing the patch, kindly remove bin and obj folders from all the projects of solution and clear NuGet cache: How-to-clear-nuget-cache

Please note that the custom patch was created for version 27.1.48 specifically to address this issue. We will include the issue fix in our upcoming weekly NuGet release scheduled for November 05, 2024. We will notify you once the release is rolled out. We appreciate your patience until then.

Regarding issue “SaveEdits button disappeared whenever I change the Brightness or contrast then click to crop in the MAUI SfImageEditor control” 

We have fixed the reported issue and included the issue fix in our latest weekly NuGet release update version 27.1.58, which is available for download at nuget.org 

Root Cause: The visibility of the save edits icon was not enabled during the initiation of the crop functionality, resulting in the icon not being displayed.
