Blazor Maui Hybrid - Unhandled error crash

Hello

I have a blazor Maui hydrid application.  When I use sfUploader the application crashes with the attached error about 10 seconds after clicking the browse to file button. Note this only happens when debugging.  With the published app the error seems to be ignored, and the application does not crash

Thanks

Hi Ditchford

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. We have thoroughly validated the problem and would like to kindly recommend upgrading both the MAUI package to the latest version (9.0.0) and the Syncfusion package to version (27.1.51).

We have also created a sample project using these latest versions, which you can review for further reference. We hope this helps resolve the issue, but please feel free to reach out if you need any further assistance or clarification. We're happy to help!

Hello

Thank you, that works.  The suggested solution is to upgrade to Maui 9.0.0 release candidate whilst still targeting .Net 8.0.  Is this legit / likely to cause problems elsewhere?

Thank you.

Hi Ditchford

We’re glad to hear that the issue was resolved after updating the MAUI version! To address your concern, upgrading to the MAUI 9.0.0 release candidate while still targeting .NET 8.0 should not cause any problems. The update only affects the MAUI framework, and your target .NET version will remain the same.
