Issue with resizing text in a component

We encountered an issue with the Diagram component from @syncfusion/ej2-angular-diagrams

Problem

When I enable the option to move the text of a component and resize it, upon loading the diagram from the JSON, it ends up losing the dimensions.

Environment

• Library Version: @syncfusion/ej2-angular-diagrams
• Framework: Angular

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create any object and add text to it.
2. Check "Move text" and move the text.
3. Resize the text to specific size.
4. Save the diagram and load after.

We were unable to run the sample you have shared due to missing of the package.json file. But we have created the stackblitz sample by using the code-snippet shared by you but we were unable to replicate the issue. Please refer to the below sample and video. If you still face the issue, then modify the below sample and provide us along with replication steps to validate the issue further from our side.

Sorry for the mistake,

I previously tried using Stackblitz, but it was not able to render the <ejs-diagram>

Attached is a gif of the issue, using your stackblitz example.

In some cases, the text is configured based on this size, and when it is saved and then loaded again, it ends up getting misaligned because the size doesn't load correctly.

Reported Issue :  Annotation Wrapper updates wrongly after save and load 

We can reproduce the issue and confirmed this as a defect. We have logged a defect report for this issue. We will fix this issue and provide the patch on October 8th 2024 weekly patch release.

Reported issue: Annotation Wrapper updates wrongly after save and load 

 

We have fixed the reported issue and included it in our latest patch release which is rolled out successfully.

Please upgrade to the latest version (v27.1.52) packages of the diagram to resolve this issue.
