With the provided information, we have installed the Spreadsheet control version 26.2.7 and attempted to edit the cells. Unfortunately, we were unable to replicate the reported crash issue on our end. We have attached a sample along with a video reference. It is not possible to provide a solution without replicating the issue on our end. We are unable to investigate the issue and offer a solution unless we can successfully replicate it on our end.

Could you please provide a video reference demonstrating the steps to replicate the reported crash issue? This will help us reproduce the issue and provide a solution from our end.
